Target Information
HNRPUL1 is a nuclear RNA-binding protein belonging to the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family. This protein binds specifically to the adenovirus E1B-55kDa oncoprotein and may play a key role in nucleocytoplasmic RNA transport. Its function is modulated by E1B-55kDa in adenovirus-infected cells. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
