Target Information
DAZ1 유전자는 인간 Y 염색체의 무정자증 인자 영역에 위치하며, DAZ 유전자 패밀리의 구성원입니다. 이 유전자는 전감수분열 생식세포, 특히 정원세포에서 발현되며, 정자 형성에 중요한 RNA 결합 단백질을 암호화합니다.
Y 염색체에는 이 유전자의 4개 복제본이 존재하며, P1 및 P2 palindrome 영역에 각각 2개씩 위치합니다. 각 유전자는 72-bp exon을 포함하는 2.4 kb 반복을 가지며, 반복 수와 염기서열 변이가 다양합니다. 또한, RNA recognition motif (RRM) 도메인을 암호화하는 10.8 kb 반복 영역을 포함하지만, 3개의 RRM 도메인을 가진 전사체는 보고되지 않았습니다.
