Product Specific Information

This 3DS223H monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD223 (Lymphocyte Activation Gene 3, LAG-3).
LAG-3 is a 70-kDa surface glycoprotein of the Ig superfamily, homologous to CD4, and binds MHC class II with higher affinity than CD4. It negatively regulates T cell activation and proliferation. LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells (including regulatory T cells) and NK cells, with higher expression on CD8+ T cells. Coexpression with CD49b identifies Type 1 regulatory T cells (Tr1).

Super Bright 645 is a tandem dye excited by violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 645 nm.
Recommended filter: 660/20 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Staining Buffer:
When using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and samples from light.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
