Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cytokeratin 19 is a member of the intermediate filament protein family, showing biochemical diversity across human epithelial tissues with at least 20 distinct polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range from 40–68 kDa in molecular weight and pI values between 4.9–7.8. Expression patterns of cytokeratin subtypes are used for distinguishing epithelial malignancies and assessing differentiation stages.
Cytokeratin 19 is not expressed in hepatocytes, making it useful for identifying liver metastasis.
Cytokeratin antibodies aid in differential tumor diagnosis, cytopathology, and flow cytometry assays.
