Target Information
TRIB3 (also known as TRB-3, SINK, SKIP3) is a mammalian homologue of the Tribbles family, which regulates mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) activity. Overexpression of TRIB3 inhibits NF-κB-dependent transcription induced by tumor necrosis factor (TNF) but does not prevent NF-κB nuclear translocation or DNA binding. TRIB3/SKIP3 is overexpressed in various human tumors and is regulated by hypoxia.
