Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 계열의 구성원으로, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 자극에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동해 전사 활성화 역할을 수행합니다. IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드에 의해 활성화되며, 종양 발생과 관련된 TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자에서 자극 독립적으로 활성화되는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아포토시스 기능을 수행합니다. STAT5 alpha와 STAT5 beta는 높은 서열 유사성을 가지며, 생식, 수유, 면역 및 성장 등 다양한 생리적 기능에 관여합니다.
