Target Information
Calpain 1 (CAPN1)는 칼슘 의존성 중성 프로테아제로, 비리소좀성 세포내 시스테인 프로테아제에 속합니다. 포유류의 칼페인은 보편적, 위 특이적, 근육 특이적 단백질로 구분되며, 보편적 효소는 서로 다른 대형 촉매 서브유닛과 공통 소형 조절 서브유닛으로 구성된 이합체 형태입니다.
이 유전자는 보편적 효소 Calpain 1의 대형 서브유닛을 암호화하며, 두 가지 다른 이소폼을 인코딩하는 여러 전사 변이가 보고되었습니다.
CAPN1 관련 질환으로는 Spastic Paraplegia 76, Autosomal Recessive 및 Spasticity가 있습니다.
