Invitrogen™ BioPrime™ Total FFPE Genomic Labeling System

The BioPrime™ Total FFPE Genomic Labeling System is a complete genomic DNA labeling kit designed for use in array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) applications using formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples.
Traditional protocols require large amounts of high-quality DNA, which is difficult to obtain from FFPE material. This system uses a random prime amplification (RPA) method and labeling mixes optimized for FFPE samples to generate high yields of labeled DNA representative of the starting material.
Higher yields of labeled material improve call accuracy on arrays, providing more reliable results.

This complete, all-inclusive kit is optimized to work across a wide range of sample inputs with no need for pre-amplification.
The highly concentrated exo-Klenow fragment of DNA polymerase I ensures consistent, robust DNA yields from FFPE genomic DNA.
Supplied with PureLink™ purification, the system allows low elution and minimizes background due to dye bleed found in other purification systems.
An optimized dye-labeled nucleotide mix with new dNTP linkers, novel Alexa Fluor™ 3 and 5 dyes, and improved buffer chemistry reduce labeling variation and increase signal-to-noise ratio on arrays.
The excitation and emission spectra of Alexa Fluor 3 and 5 dyes are suited for conventional two-color scanners with no need to change settings.
Each kit is batch tested to ensure consistent performance from lot to lot.
