Target Information
C16orf57 is a phosphodiesterase responsible for U6 snRNA 3′ end processing.
It acts as an exoribonuclease (RNase) that trims the poly(U) tract of the pre-U6 snRNA molecule, forming mature U6 snRNA terminated with a 2′,3′-cyclic phosphate.
