Target Information
TMOD1 유전자는 tropomodulin 패밀리에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 actin-capping 단백질로, tropomyosin의 N-말단에 결합하여 depolymerization과 elongation을 억제함으로써 actin 필라멘트의 구조와 적혈구 막 골격의 안정성에 영향을 줍니다. 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 다수의 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
