Target Information
QSOX1 (Quiescin Q6) 유전자는 thioredoxin과 ERV1 두 고대 유전자의 융합체입니다. 섬유아세포가 증식 주기를 종료하고 휴지기로 들어갈 때 발현이 유도되어 성장 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
QSOX1 단백질은 단백질 내 황화수소기를 산화시켜 이황화 결합을 형성하며, 저산소 환경에서 발현이 증가하고 산화 스트레스에 의한 세포 자멸사로부터 세포를 보호하는 기능을 합니다.
