Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates.

Target Information

MAP3K5 (ASK1) is a serine/threonine kinase abundantly expressed in human heart and pancreas. It is activated by various extracellular stimuli such as cytokines, growth factors, and environmental stresses.
ASK1 (Apoptosis Signal-Regulating Kinase 1) activates MAPKKs (MKK4, MKK6), which in turn activate JNK and p38 MAP kinases. It plays a key role in apoptosis signaling, interacting with TRAF family members and Daxx. Overexpression of ASK1 induces apoptosis, while inactive forms inhibit TNF-α-induced apoptosis. ASK1 is expressed in various human and mouse tissues.
