This Goat anti-Human IgM antibody has been purified using IgM-affinity chromatography. The antibody reacts specifically with IgM heavy chains (µ chains) and not with immunoglobulin light chains.

Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies provide increased versatility and sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
