GBP1 (Guanlyate Binding Protein 1)는 68 kDa GTPase로 GTPase1 패밀리에 속합니다.
Interferon-γ 및 IL-1α, IL-1β, TNF-α 등 염증성 사이토카인에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다.
TLR3 리간드인 poly I:C에 의한 GBP1 발현 유도와 NF-κB 및 IFNα 반응 요소 의존성은 TLR 경로의 관여를 시사합니다.
GBP1과 MMP-1의 반비례적 발현은 혈관신생 및 세포 이동 억제 기능과 관련이 있으며, 특히 내피세포에서 이러한 역할이 두드러집니다.
GBP1은 염증 반응 및 세포 이동 신호전달 네트워크에서 중심적인 조절 분자로 작용합니다.
