Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the ankyrin repeat and SOCS box-containing family. These proteins feature ankyrin repeat sequences and a SOCS box domain. The SOCS box couples suppressor of cytokine signalling proteins and their binding partners with the elongin B and C complex, potentially targeting them for degradation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, though their full-length sequences are not known.
