Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Rat.
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the forkhead class of DNA-binding proteins. These hepatocyte nuclear factors act as transcriptional activators for liver-specific transcripts such as albumin and transthyretin, and they interact with chromatin. Similar family members in mice play roles in metabolism regulation and differentiation of the pancreas and liver.
