병원체 및 숙주 유래 이중가닥 DNA(dsDNA)에 반응하여 STING1의 Lys-63 연결 유비퀴틴화를 유도하고, 이는 IFN-beta 생산에 필요한 STING1의 이합체화를 촉진합니다.
E3 리가아제 활성과 독립적으로 TLR3 신호의 양성 조절자로 작용하며, dsRNA에 의해 유도되는 IFNB1 및 다양한 인터페론 자극 유전자(ISG15, IFIT1/ISG56, CXCL10, OASL, CCL5/RANTES)의 발현을 강화합니다.
Hepatitis C virus 감염 후 TLR3 매개 항바이러스 상태 및 케모카인 유도에 기여합니다.
