Target Information
CD59 (Protectin)은 18–20 kDa 크기의 GPI-앵커 단백질로, 막공격복합체(MAC)의 형성을 억제하는 주요 조절 인자입니다. 자가 세포를 보존하며, C5b-8 복합체와 결합하여 세포막의 용해성 구멍 형성을 방지합니다. 또한 CD2의 저친화성 리간드로 작용하여 T 세포의 공동자극 및 신호전달에 관여합니다. CD59 유전자의 돌연변이는 용혈성 빈혈, 혈전증, 뇌경색을 포함한 CD59 결핍 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 변형체가 보고되었습니다.
