Product Specific Information

The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic domain has tyrosine phosphatase activity, playing a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, accounting for ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent on non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, antigen receptor signaling, and cytokine receptor pathways. Isoforms (e.g., CD45RA) arise from alternative splicing and vary by lymphoid subtype and physiological state. CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell signaling, integrin-mediated survival, and modulation of immune functions.
