Tribbles 단백질은 세포 분열 억제 인자로, 초파리에서 형태형성의 중요한 시점에서 유사분열을 차단합니다. 최근에는 MAPK 활성을 조절하는 포유류 상동체가 확인되었습니다.
TRIB3 (TRB-3, SINK, SKIP3로도 알려짐)는 Trbs 패밀리의 구성원으로, TNF 자극 또는 하위 신호 단백질에 의해 유도된 NF-κB 의존적 전사를 억제하지만, NF-κB의 핵 내 이동 및 DNA 결합은 억제하지 않습니다.
TRIB3/SKIP3는 여러 인간 종양에서 과발현되며, 저산소 상태에서 조절됩니다.
