Human IgA (immunoglobulin A)는 항원에 대한 면역 반응 시 생성되는 항체로, 침, 눈물, 모유 등 점막 분비물에서 가장 풍부하게 존재합니다. 점막 표면에서 병원체의 침입을 방어하며, 항원에 결합하여 체내 조직으로의 침입을 차단합니다. 또한 보체 활성화 및 식세포작용 촉진에도 관여합니다.
Human IgA는 병원체에 대한 면역 반응 연구, 진단용 테스트 개발 및 감염성 질환 치료제 연구에 활용될 수 있습니다.
