Target Information
HABP2는 히알루론산과 결합하는 세포외 세린 프로테아제로, 세포 부착에 관여합니다. 단일 사슬로 합성된 후 자동 단백질 절단을 통해 기능적 헤테로다이머를 형성하며, 추가적인 절단으로 비활성 펩타이드가 생성됩니다. 이 프로테아제는 urinary plasminogen activator, coagulation factor VII 및 fibrinogen의 α, β 사슬을 절단하지만 prothrombin, plasminogen 또는 γ 사슬은 절단하지 않습니다. 두 가지 전사 변이가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
