The MD8 Airscan® in conjunction with gelatin membrane filters enables the collection of airborne microorganisms and the capture of very small particles, including viruses.
The stainless steel sampling head is a Triclamp 50.5 version designed for easy integration into tubing systems. It is part of the MD8 Airscan® and actively creates a vacuum by drawing air onto the gelatin membrane filter (GMF).
For proper operation, the sampling head requires the following components:
