This peptide corresponds to 19 amino acids near the amino terminus of human ESRRB.
PEP-1405 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-34362.
Target Information
ESRRB (steroid hormone receptor ERR2) plays a role in maintenance of self-renewal and pluripotency of embryonic and trophoblast stem cells through different signaling pathways including FGF and Wnt signaling pathways. Upon FGF signaling pathway activation, ESRRB interacts with KDM1A by directly binding to enhancer sites of ELF5 and EOMES and activates their transcription, leading to self-renewal of trophoblast stem cells. ESRRB also regulates expression of multiple rod-specific genes and is required for survival of this cell type. Defects in the gene can cause deafness, autosomal recessive, 35 (DFNB35).
