UBL3 (ubiquitin-like protein 3)은 membrane-anchored ubiquitin-fold protein (MUB) 또는 PNSC1으로도 알려져 있으며, 117개의 아미노산으로 구성된 막 단백질입니다. 종 간에 높은 보존성을 가지며, 두 개의 잠재적 N-glycosylation site, 하나의 protein kinase C phosphorylation site, 그리고 하나의 C-terminal prenylation site를 포함합니다. UBL3 유전자는 염색체 13q12.3에 위치합니다.
