Target Information
CatSpers (cation channel, sperm associated proteins)는 정자의 주부위(principal piece)에 위치한 이온 수송 단백질로, 정자 운동성과 수정 과정, cAMP 매개 칼슘 유입에 필수적입니다. 포유류 정자에는 CatSper1, CatSper2, CatSper3, CatSper4의 네 가지 단백질이 존재하며, 이들은 전압 의존성 Ca²⁺ 채널 구조를 가지며 heterotetrameric 복합체를 형성합니다. CatSper 유전자 변이는 남성 불임을 초래할 수 있으며, CatSper3는 수정 준비 과정에서 정자의 과활성 운동성에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
