The YKIX753.22 monoclonal antibody reacts with canine CD45R.
In dogs, CD45R is expressed on B cells and peripheral T cells. CD45 exists as multiple isoforms (CD45RA, CD45RB, CD45RO) generated by alternative splicing. The C-terminal domain of CD45 exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity, enabling signaling from T and B cell receptors following activation.

This antibody can promote cell depletion via antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity when used with YKIX716.13.

Target Information

CD45R (PTPRC) is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates cellular processes including growth, differentiation, mitosis, and oncogenic transformation.
CD45 contains an extracellular domain, a transmembrane segment, and two intracytoplasmic catalytic domains. It is specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells and is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling.

CD45 glycoprotein plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases. Isoforms generated by alternative splicing differ in extracellular domains but share identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains. Expression varies by cell type and physiological state.

Additionally, CD45 modulates integrin-mediated signal transduction and is involved in apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation.
CD45RA isoform shows restricted expression among lymphoid cell subtypes.
Diseases associated with CD45 dysfunction include Severe Combined Immunodeficiency and Hepatitis C.
