Target Information
BATF2 (basic leucine zipper transcription factor, ATF-like 2)는 핵에 위치하는 274개 아미노산 단백질로, bZIP 도메인을 포함하여 전사 조절에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
BATF2 유전자는 인간 염색체 11에 위치하며, 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 이소폼으로 발현됩니다. 염색체 11은 약 1억 3,500만 염기쌍과 약 1,400개의 유전자를 포함하며, 다양한 질환 관련 유전자가 밀집된 영역으로 알려져 있습니다.
염색체 11에 위치한 Atm 유전자는 DNA 손상 후 세포 주기 정지 및 세포사 조절에 중요하며, 변이는 ataxia-telangiectasia를 유발합니다.
HBB 유전자의 변이는 겸상적혈구빈혈과 지중해빈혈을, WT1 유전자의 변이는 Wilms 종양, WAGR 증후군, Denys-Drash 증후군을 일으킵니다.
