Target Information

Von Willebrand factor (vWf) consists of self-aggregated glycoprotein subunits synthesized in endothelial cells and megakaryocytes. The monomeric vWf unit has a molecular mass of approximately 225 kDa. vWf binds to circulating factor VIIIc (antihemophilic factor), stabilizing it and playing a crucial role in primary haemostasis.
