This antibody has specificity for Human ERK3/MAPK12/P38-gamma.
Target Information
MAPK12 (p38 gamma) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in various cellular processes. It is activated during hypoxia and gamma-irradiation-induced G(2) arrest. Activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases is a major mechanism for transduction of extracellular signals. Stress-activated protein kinases are one subclass of MAP kinases. MAPK12 functions as a signal transducer during differentiation of myoblasts to myotubes.
