Target Information
CAMK1D (CaMK1 delta) is a serine/threonine kinase that belongs to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It is expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and may participate in chemokine signal transduction pathways regulating granulocyte function. CAMK1D may also play a role in neuronal apoptosis modulation. The CaMK1D-beta isoform exhibits Ca²⁺/CaM-dependent activity, and CAM-Kkalpha can upregulate CAMK1D-b activity through phosphorylation at Thr180.
