Dodeca disc is an enhanced extension of Single Discs. This disc gives the privilege to study 12 different antibiotics on a single plate. Flat circular ring of inert material with 8 and 4 equidistant arms on the outer and inner periphery respectively with a 6 mm filter paper disc at the end. Each disc is impregnated with different antibiotic, with corresponding symbol & concentration printed on the ring for easy identification. The unique inert material used for making the rings allows faster absorption of the rings and hence a uniform diffusion of the antibiotics on to the medium. Dodeca UTI 13 has combination of antibiotics that aid antibiotic susceptibility testing of Gram negative organisms.
