Target Information
EFTUD1는 60S 리보솜 소단위체의 생합성과 리보솜의 번역 활성화에 관여합니다. SBDS와 함께 작용하여 세포질에서 60S 전리보솜으로부터 EIF6의 GTP 의존적 방출을 유도함으로써 80S 리보솜 조립을 가능하게 하고, EIF6을 핵으로 재순환시켜 60S rRNA 처리 및 핵 내 수출에 필요하도록 합니다. 낮은 내재적 GTPase 활성을 가지며, 60S 리보솜 소단위체와 접촉 시 GTPase 활성이 증가합니다.
