Target Information

Anti-Cotton rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for cotton rat immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility by enabling the use of various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and can enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and are further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
