이 단백질은 proximal sequence element (PSE)에 결합하며, 이는 두 종류의 유전자에서 공통적으로 발견되는 non-TATA-box 기저 프로모터 요소입니다.
또한 TBP와 BRF2를 U6 snRNA TATA box로 모집하는 역할을 합니다.
