- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-1 alpha, rhIL-1 RI, recombinant mouse (rm) IL-1 alpha, rhIL-1 beta, rmIL-1 beta, recombinant rat IL-1 beta, rhIL-1ra, rmIL-1ra, and recombinant rhesus monkey IL-1ra is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
The IL1R2 gene encodes a cytokine receptor belonging to the interleukin 1 receptor family. It binds IL1A, IL1B, and IL1R1/IL1RA, acting as a decoy receptor that inhibits ligand activity. IL4 can antagonize IL1 activity by inducing IL1R2 expression. The gene is part of a cytokine receptor cluster on chromosome 2q12, and two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
