Product Specific Information
- IHC (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
The constant regions (C regions) of immunoglobulins are sequences beyond the variable regions, present in both heavy and light chains. These regions contain sites for carbohydrate attachment and help maintain structural integrity through disulfide bonds. The C regions also facilitate antigen interaction by increasing the flexibility of the immunoglobulin arms. Studies have shown that patients with recurrent respiratory tract infections often exhibit low IgG4 concentrations.
