Target Information
Ebola virus는 외피를 가진 음성가닥 RNA 바이러스로, Filoviridae과에 속합니다. Marburg virus와 유사한 형태를 가지지만 항원적으로는 구별됩니다.
바이러스 게놈은 비분절 RNA이며, SDS-PAGE 분석에서 7개의 구조 단백질이 확인됩니다:
- NP (104 kDa)
- GP (125 kDa)
- L protein (180 kDa)
- VP40 (40 kDa)
- ViPX (35 kDa)
- VP30 (30 kDa)
- VP24 (24 kDa)
이 단백질들은 모두 virion RNA에 상보적인 단일사 mRNA 전사체로부터 발현됩니다.
GP는 표면 스파이크의 주요 단백질이며, 125 kDa의 당단백질로서 유일하게 당화되어 있습니다.
