Target Information
EB3 is a 282 amino acid homologue of EB1, a protein known to bind APC (adenomatous polyposis coli). It binds to tubulin in vitro and to microtubules in vivo. Expression is mainly observed in brain tissue, with lower levels in muscle. EB3 interacts with APCL, a homologue of the tumor suppressor APC, and may play a role in microtubule stabilization or extension.
