Bcl-6 proto-oncogene product는 Kruppel-type zinc-finger 단백질로, 정상 배중심 B세포와 관련 림프종에서 주로 발현됩니다.
Bcl-6은 비호지킨 림프종에서 3q27 염색체 재배열에 관여하며, 확산성 대세포 B세포 림프종의 33–45%에서 재배열이 보고되었습니다.
면역조직화학적으로 여포성 림프종, 확산성 대세포 림프종, 버킷 림프종, 그리고 결절성 림프구 우세형 호지킨병에서 검출됩니다.
