Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules.
Secondary antibodies increase versatility, allowing use with multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity via signal amplification.
They are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
