Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is crucial for lipid metabolism in plasma and is a component of various lipoprotein-lipid particles.
It is synthesized in the liver, brain, spleen, and kidney, with high concentrations in interstitial fluids. ApoE facilitates cholesterol transport between cells and contributes to the formation of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) and chylomicrons.
The ApoE gene is located on chromosome 19 at position 19q13.2.
