Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
LKB1 (STK11), also known as Serine/threonine-protein kinase STK11, is a tumor suppressor belonging to the serine/threonine kinase family.
LKB1 interacts with p53 to regulate p53-dependent apoptosis pathways. It is localized in both the cytoplasm and nucleus, and translocates to mitochondria during apoptosis.
LKB1 acts as a master upstream kinase regulating AMPK and AMPK-related kinases. Mutations in the LKB1 gene are associated with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
