For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

cAMP is a signaling molecule essential for various cellular functions. It activates cAMP-dependent protein kinase, which phosphorylates multiple target proteins. The inactive kinase holoenzyme consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. cAMP binding causes dissociation into regulatory dimers and catalytic monomers.
This gene encodes one of the regulatory subunits, acting as a tissue-specific extinguisher that down-regulates liver gene expression in hepatoma × fibroblast hybrids. Mutations in this gene are linked to Carney complex (CNC). It can fuse with the RET protooncogene forming the thyroid tumor-specific chimeric oncogene PTC2.
A nonconventional nuclear localization sequence (NLS) suggests a role in DNA replication by serving as a nuclear transport protein for RFC40. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
