Target Information
PCDHA10은 protocadherin alpha 유전자 클러스터의 구성원으로, 염색체 5번에 존재하는 세 개의 관련 클러스터 중 하나입니다. 이 클러스터는 B세포 및 T세포 수용체 유전자 클러스터와 유사한 독특한 유전체 구조를 가지며, 15개의 cadherin 초가족 유전자로 구성됩니다. 각 유전자는 6개의 cadherin ectodomain을 암호화하는 N-말단 엑손과 세포질 도메인을 암호화하는 C-말단 엑손을 포함합니다. 이러한 신경 cadherin 유사 세포 접착 단백질은 뇌 내 특정 세포 간 연결의 형성과 기능에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 대체 스플라이싱이 관찰되었으며 추가 변이형이 제안되었으나 완전 길이는 아직 확정되지 않았습니다.
