Target Information
The CACNG7 gene encodes a type II transmembrane AMPA receptor regulatory protein (TARP). TARPs regulate both trafficking and channel gating of AMPA receptors. This gene belongs to a functionally diverse eight-member subfamily of the PMP-22/EMP/MP20 family and is located in a cluster with other TARP and calcium channel gamma subunit family members.
