Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1). The PD-L1/PD-1 interaction negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling, reducing TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting an important role in tumor immune evasion.
