Target Information
CSTF2 is one of three cleavage stimulation factors (CSTF1, CSTF2, CSTF3) that form CSTF, which is involved in polyadenylation and 3′ end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. CSTF2 contains a ribonucleoprotein-type RNA binding domain and is upregulated during B-cell activation, facilitating the switch of IgM heavy chain mRNA from membrane-bound to secreted form.
