This antibody detects endogenous levels of TOP2A only when phosphorylated at Ser1337.
Target Information
Topo II alpha plays important roles in DNA synthesis and transcription, as well as chromosomal segregation during mitosis. It is a sensitive and specific marker of late S-, G2-, and M-phases in transformed and developmentally regulated normal cells. Topo II alpha is also implicated in drug resistance of tumor cells.
