Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C or below.

Anti-Choline Oxidase antibody is an IgG fraction purified from monospecific antiserum through delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography, followed by extensive dialysis.
Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, and purified Choline Oxidase [Alcaligenes species].
Cross-reactivity with Choline Oxidase from other sources is unknown.
Target Information
Choline Oxidase catalyzes the reaction:
Choline + 2 O₂ + H₂O → Betaine + 2 H₂O₂
This enzyme participates in the first step of the subpathway synthesizing betaine from choline.
